Ignite Your Peace is an e-commerce affirmation-based, self-care brand intentionally designed for underrepresented women to help them effortlessly cultivate healing and joy. Founder Kierra Bussey, the creative behind Ignite Your Peace, brings peace to her customer base one affirmation at a time. “Our candles are 100 percent soy-based and have a range of earthy and floral notes that resemble nature. I teach women how to rewire their mindset about self-care by adding affirmations and aromatherapy elements, such as lavender essential oils, to each candle,” shared Bussey.

Bussey is a mompreneur who wants to relate to the other mothers out there trying to balance work. She encourages people to believe that they can have what they desire by affirming the best for themselves.

Studies from the U.S. National Library of Medicine National Institutes of Health Studies show that self-care can enhance mental health, but 38 percent of Black women in the study rarely designated time for their self-care. And only 30 percent took time to frequently express self-love, causing them to unhealthily give their time and emotions to everyone except themselves.

“We make self-care and healing easy for women. Ignite Your Peace was created to compel your inner light to go from a dim flicker to a full force of purpose. By recognizing these acute self-care needs, I was compelled to create themes that ignite joy, courage, balance, and peace. I believe that self-care correlates with mental health, so Ignite Your Peace’s goal is to help women replenish their self-care regularly,” the founder added.
