TAMPA, Fla. – Aug. 26, 2026 – Haptic Zones® Technology today announced BUILD, a major new commercialization initiative that expands the Haptic Zones® interaction architecture into a growing ecosystem of intelligent products, software, development technology, devices, and advanced interactive systems.

BUILD represents the next phase of Haptic Zones®: moving from invention, intellectual property, research, education and licensing into the development and deployment of commercial technology built on that foundation.

The foundation behind that expansion is Haptic Zones® patented technology, known as Poindexter 471, an interaction architecture that has become ubiquitous across modern digital interaction. Its underlying technology is encountered and used thousands of times each day as people interact with the technology around them. Most people have never thought about the architecture behind those everyday ANYWHERE interactions. They simply use it.

BUILD represents Haptic Zones building directly upon that established intellectual property foundation, transforming the architecture into a new generation of intelligent products, systems, development technology, and interactive experiences.

FROM ARCHITECTURE TO PRODUCTS

Haptic Zones technology is centered on zone-based interaction across electronic and visual surfaces. The company’s intellectual-property foundation includes U.S. Patent No. 10,225,471 B2, issued March 5, 2019.

Through BUILD, Haptic Zones® is developing technology across multiple interactive environments, including mobile, automotive, medical, spatial computing, kiosks, industrial systems, aviation, wearables, visual media, embedded systems, and advanced interactive surfaces.

These initiatives are being organized under the Haptic Zones master brand, including emerging product families such as Haptic Zones® Mobile, Haptic Zones® Automotive, Haptic Zones® Medical, Haptic Zones® Spatial, Haptic Zones® Industrial, Haptic Zones® Aviation, and Haptic Zones® Wearables.

Detailed specifications and private development roadmaps will remain confidential as individual technologies progress toward commercialization.

INTERACTION BECOMES INTELLIGENT

BUILD also connects Haptic Zones interaction technology with Poindexter Intelligence, the company’s proprietary intelligence architecture.

Haptic Zones® provides the interaction foundation. Poindexter provides intelligence for decision-making, prediction, optimization, contextual understanding, and adaptive system behavior.

Together, the technologies are being developed to create a new generation of intelligent interactive systems capable of responding more precisely and contextually to users, environments, and system conditions.

Products incorporating the combined technology may carry the designations Powered by Haptic Zones® and Powered by Poindexter.

BUILD STUDIO

At the center of the initiative will be BUILD Studio, a development environment being created for building and deploying Haptic Zones®-powered interactive experiences.

BUILD Studio is being designed to provide a streamlined path from an idea to a working interactive product, initially supporting web and mobile experiences and expanding into increasingly specialized interactive environments.

A key component of the BUILD model will be licensing. Eligible active deployments created through BUILD Studio are expected to include integrated Haptic Zones developer licensing under applicable BUILD licensing terms, creating a direct authorized pathway for developers and companies to build with Haptic Zones technology.

CAMAPP®: A NEW APPROACH TO VISUAL INTERACTION

Visual technology represents another major component of the expanding ecosystem.

Haptic Zones is developing CAMAPP®, its registered trademark camera application, as an intelligent visual capture experience built around Haptic Zones interaction technology.

CAMAPP® is being designed around a fundamental interaction principle:

Rather than making a permanent traditional shutter control the center of the camera experience, CAMAPP® is being developed around the ability for the visual surface itself to become an interaction environment.

Haptic Zones intends to combine that interaction model with Poindexter Intelligence to create increasingly contextual, adaptive, and intelligent visual experiences. Detailed CAMAPP® functionality remains in private development.

CAMRIGHTS®: AUTHENTICITY FOR THE AI ERA

Haptic Zones is also developing CAMRIGHTS®, its registered trademark content ownership, authenticity, provenance, and protection technology.

CAMRIGHTS® addresses an increasingly important challenge created by the rapid growth of synthetic, manipulated, and AI-generated visual media: establishing trustworthy evidence about where visual content originated.

Rather than relying exclusively on analysis performed after media has entered the digital ecosystem, CAMRIGHTS® is being developed around establishing provenance beginning at capture.

The objective is to enable supported Haptic Zones products and devices to establish verifiable information concerning the origin, integrity, and provenance of photos, videos, livestreams, and other visual content while supporting creator ownership and content protection.
