Houston, TX – 4pt0 GPA, Inc. is on a roll once again! The mastermind behind 4pt0 GPA, Inc., Henry Keculah Jr., has made the company a finalist in the entrepreneurial opportunity contest. This former Teach For America teacher is on a mission to close the achievement gap with his initiative ideas. One can help his company win $10,000 by voting for it in the Entrepreneurial Opportunity Contest.

The Houston Business Journal and BBVA team have partnered up to provide one company $10,000 dollars. The four finalists of the Entrepreneurial Opportunity Contest will pitch their ideas to a panel of judges on November 17th. Votes received will count toward the finalists’ scores.

4pt0 GPA, Inc. continues to spearhead initiatives to create awareness for college and career readiness. They are on a mission to help students do what they love upon graduating from high school, whether it be attending college or enrolling in a technical school of their choice. Their new book What is College? and video game create a fun and engaging way for students to learn about college, careers and scholarships as early as elementary school.

“We are providing students with a chance and allowing them to take care of their family one day,” Henry Keculah explained. “School districts, school counselors, parents and students love the products and services we provide. We make college and career readiness fun and engaging.”

The journey after graduating from high school is not an easy one, and that is where 4pt0 GPA, Inc. comes in. There is an average of one school counselor for every 455 public K-12 students in the United States, according to the American School Counselor Association (ASCA). The recommended ratio as stated by ASCA is 250:1. Currently, there are only three states (Wyoming, Vermont and New Hampshire) meeting the requirement of 250:1.

4pt0 GPA, Inc. continues to be a reliable choice for school districts and parents during the pandemic. “We are providing online seminars for organizations, schools and students during the pandemic,” said Henry Keculah Jr.

After losing several contracts with schools because of the pandemic, 4pt0 GPA, Inc. continues to avoid several stumbling blocks.
